History
In 1g72 Harada Embroidery began as a sewing company,
branching out into textile printing in 1977 ,and then machine
embroidery in 1979 and specialty machine embroidery in 1981 .
In 1998, we established “Harada Embroidery” incorporation. One
of our most popular products is the Ikimono series. First created in
201o it is a product that makes full use of our time-honored
embroidery processing techniques and revived a public interest in
the art of Japanese traditional embroidery.

Material&Technique
What makes the Ikimono series so unique is the sensitive
care and attention that goes into the embroidery.Each thread
that is used expresses reality, liveliness and warmth.The rayon
yarn we use is moisture absorbent with a beautifully shiny and
smooth texture to it. The combined planar embroidery gives
the product a three-dimensional effect. The manufacturing
process follows a series of delicate and precise stages
throughout its assembly,forming, and mounting. Our product
is extremely versatile. Many customers use it on their bag
straps, mobile phones, or fashion accessories such as broaches,
earrings and necklaces. It can also be used for interior goods
such as living room curtains and on houseplants to make them
look really alive. We are currently developing a new series of
Ikimono items that incorporating earrings,broaches,pin badges
and necklaces, hats,ties, shoes and bags with a continuous
objective to produce many items of yarn to make people
happy and comfortable.

“IKIMONO” is made by utilizing a delicate embroiderying technique ,using an ordinary thread about o.3mm in diameter for several dozens of meters. It not only has a realistic and lively appearance,but it also gives the warm impression of on embroidered product. Ikimono can be used on straps attached to bags and mobile phones, or to, brooches,earrings,necklaces,and other jewelry,or used as an interior decoration on curtains or plants to express the lives of insects.
